This episode is all in good fun.
We're given the return of Melanie Puckett after four years. After Cat manages to trick Sam with the help of twins to mess with her head, after already failing to trick her with magic, Cat wanted to learn how to outsmart her for once.
Really funny, great moments I found were how the girls were able to trick one another for so long. Especially Cat! Both girls showed how funny they are. Another funny, great moment was when they'd dance to their victory, and when Sam would spit out her drink and start laughing when Cat would tell her she's smart. And Goomer finding Melanie in the end credits.
People shouldn't be so shocked at the fact that Cat gets kissed by a girl. If Good Luck Charlie can show a lesbian couple on their show, there shouldn't be any complaints here. Another complaint for this episode, among iCarly fans, would be that Melanie has to play mean. It's no big deal. She's still the same, sweet Melanie. She just had to play psychotic for a few hours.
Anyway, a really fun episode! Jennette McCurdy got to also show more of her acting skills, playing two different characters so well. Sam can come across as someone mean, sarcastic, but funny and Melanie gives off that vibe of a really sweet girl you'd love to be around for sure.
