- Heston goes to see Karen, though she still refuses to see Rob, on account that he's 'creepy'. Valerie gets involved with a mother and daughter, one of whom has dementia. Emma and Chris wake up with nasty colds.
- Valerie gets involved with businesswoman Jill Evans, who is struggling to cope with her elderly mother Helen, who appears to be suffering from dementia. Emma and Chris, both off work with the flu, are watching films when Emma suggests that they move to a smaller house, a proposal which does not meet with her son's approval. Meanwhile Rob is increasingly distraught that, whilst she is happy to meet colleagues under the impression that they are new friends, Karen refuses to acknowledge him.—don @ minifie-1
