Sometimes all you need just a good film. And 'Shunte Ki Pao' is that kind of work.
This documentary is about Soumen, Rakhi and their 4 years old son Rahul. As a victim of 'Aila' their life changes forever. They along with their whole village started living besides the road.
I liked a lot of things in this film. Expressing some of them;
a. The simplicity: The documentary showed a simple village invironment. It's really appreciable how the director put all this in such a delegant way.
B. Giving opinion: When the chairman came to question about themselves, all the villagers put some valid points regarding their problems.
C. Working as a community: Throughout the film we can see the unity among the villagers. They protested together, raised their voice together and worked together.
D. The ultimate relation: Soumen and Rakhi portrayed the most valuable thing in this film. Little conflict of them, some hidden love and the responsibility towards the villagers.
E. Village festival: Having a lot of problems, they never gave up. They enjoyed their life when it's come to the festival. They cared for their families. There's a football match had shown in the film. The people, the craziness were still there.
Color degrading and sometimes the BGM was a little under the line. Expect that, it's a really good film. 🖤
