Canadian Sideways?

Couples meet up on a Niagara region wine tour, with a woman inconveniently involved with her partner's boss, who is on this tour too.

Lots of nice scenery and a story about infidelity make this an interesting film. Lots of recognizable places for southern Ontario who go on weekend jaunts to the Niagara Peninsula.

Why do Canadian films all have a bad ending?

Warning: Spoilers
What prevents whoever wrote this to end a film with a happy ending? This movie was not great art, not a drama, just a possible light-hearted movie, but no, the creator of this pretentious little story, replete with elaborate wine descriptions ( e.g., to paraphrase -- I can taste vanilla and blueberries in this interesting wine), esoteric descriptions of food --had to provide us with a life lesson and instead of ending on high note, chose to make everyone except dear little Amy unhappy or if not unhappy, just blah, exactly how I felt at the end of the oh so boring movie.

Great!

This film is a funny and charming movie all shot in Southern Ontario. Beautiful locations, all set on a winery; great cast; enjoyable film overall. The Canadian cast was all great, led by the great Colantonio and the hilarious Tony Nappo. Catch them both in the new Canadian true-mob-story series coming Fall 2017 called "BAD BLOOD" on CityTV.

Romantic and charming exploration of our relationships with others, ourselves and our dreams.

A deliciously charming, character driven heartfelt story. Beautifully filmed and directed. The cast is excellent. I appreciate the unique qualities each actor brought to the film. I felt it was a perfectly balanced exploration of life's complicated relationships with one another as well as with ourselves. Worth watching.
