Most people who follow the news have heard of the March 2004 bombings in Madrid (dubbed 3/11), the July 2005 London bombings, the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, as well as the murders of filmmaker Theo van Gogh, reporter Daniel Pearl, Dutch author Pim Fortuyn, the attack on the newspaper 'Jyllands-Posten' over their publishing of cartoons, to name only a few horrific incidents in recent decades. If you've ever wondered what's behind it all, ISLAM RISING: A CALL TO ONE WORLD UMMAH helps to explain this, and much more.

Anyone who has read books by Bat Ye'or or Ayaan Hirsi Ali will in all likelihood appreciate this rather in-depth four-part documentary.

Among the interviewees are:
  • Nonie Darwish (author of "Now They Call Me Infidel")
  • Walid Shoebat (author of "Why I Left Jihad")
  • Brigitte Gabriel (author of "They Must Be Stopped")
  • Kamal Saleem (author of "The Blood Of Lambs")
  • Zach Anani (former Lebanese terrorist)
  • William Wagner (author of "How Islam Plans To Change The World")

The four parts are titled thusly: 1. "Dawah: The Duty to Conquer" (approx. 36 minutes) 2. "Ideology: Sharia & Jihad" (approx. 43 minutes) 3. "The Sword of Terrorism" (approx. 42 minutes) 4. "The Mosque: Its Many Faces" (approx. 34 minutes)

In this, one will learn the meaning of various terms, such as al-Hijra, dhimmis, Jizya tax, and caliphate. Ever heard of 'the law of abrogation' (aka, Naskh)? You will here. Unfamiliar with 'Al Taqiyya' (aka, Jihad of Deception) and the doctrine of Kithman? It's all explained for us in the highly educational ISLAM RISING.

Postscript: I've given this documentary a 10/10 rating primarily on account of its information value.
