The play is adapted from Ruian Wen's novel "The Wonderful Heroes of China". It tells the story of Mingming Xiao, a salted fish who loves martial arts novels but is smoothed by reality. He travels through the world of martial arts from the perspective of Qiushui Xiao, the hero of the novel, a story about a passionate and impulsive young swordsman who eventually grows up to be a kind and righteous hero who protects his family and country. Since then, Mingming Xiao has not forgotten to create in his spare time, and continues to convey the belief that people's hearts are united by righteousness in his novels.
