Worthy follow-up to A Moody Christmas
jimholte16 December 2019
I'm glad I found this, it is worthy of the Moody family name. A Moody Christmas is my families go to holiday classic, so The Moodys had a lot to live up to. It is a worthy continuation of the lives of the most lovably dysfunctional family ever conceived. We have purchased both series in AUS Dvd along with a multi-region player just to watch each holiday season.

Watched the first episode of the US Moody Christmas and just didnt feel the connection. Decided to try the Moody Christmas on Acorn and LOVED it. Making my way through season 2 and wish there was more. Thanks!

A real review

The previous review was not a review of the TV show but comments about the family name.

I feel a real review is needed. This is a very funny show with endearing and exasperationg characters. Some you just love and some you just love to dislike . The action is spot on and it is definitely bingeworthy . The situations are outrageously funny but who cares. I really wish it had lasted longer.

Finally, A great Aussie Comedy Series
tonyw280827 March 2014
I loved the Moody Christmas series, thought the writers captured the spirit of understatement, subtle humour and universal comedic themes. But this series has somehow managed to improve. All of the actors are just perfect with their deliveries, looks, actions and personalities. I grew up with the great British comedy series from Hancock, Til Death Us Do Part and Steptoe through On The Buses to Are You Being Served and Dad's Army, and have been constantly disappointed with most of the Australian humour (Gunston and Mother and Son being outstanding exceptions). But this series has really captured what humour to me is about - no slapstick, no laugh track, no simple automatic retorts, just great build up and truly humorous situations. Looking forward to the next series.
