Factual errors

Mei Li says "I was researching genetic virus manipulation." This is meaningless. All viruses are 'genetic': they are nothing more than a genome (DNA or RNA) inside a protein coat. What she meant was "I was researching genetic manipulation of viruses."
At the beginning, the undercover agent is inside a steel-hulled ship talking on a satellite phone. This is not possible, especially in the hold of a steel ship, and there is no evidence of a connection to an exterior antenna.
After the captured agent bites down on a poisoned button, he is dead within a few seconds. That is not enough time for the cyanide to be ingested and absorbed into the bloodstream. Symptoms would appear in a few seconds but, if treated quickly (less than 30 minutes), it need not be fatal.

Revealing mistakes

Reviewing the restaurant video footage, Knight says (of Chen and the mystery woman) "Well, they certainly look chummy." Apart from the fact that they are sitting at the same table, they look anything but 'chummy'. They are not looking at each other but seem to be glaring in a hostile manner at someone else, off-camera.

Character error

Knight says "You scared Robin and I [sic] half to death." That is grammatically incorrect and should be "Robin and me". McGee makes this error a few times in the series, but that is understandable given his rather pompous and punctilious manner, affecting what he believes (incorrectly) to be good English. However, Knight is more down to earth and not given to such pretentiousness, as shown in her next remark, "For who?" Grammatically, it should be "For whom?" but that would seem unnecessarily formal, especially for Knight.
Nick Torres uses the phrase "immaculate conception" incorrectly. He uses the phrase to describe a child conceived without having sex. The correct definition refers to Mary's conception without original sin.
