With some help from the therapist, she does the interview. She also identifies her attacker from photos. Afterwards, Jung-sook tries to help the parents with So-won's mental health, however Mi-hee refuses.
Meanwhile, her attacker gets arrested. As the family is moving rooms to a shared room, Dong-hoon gets a call and finds out about the arrest. He runs to the police station in an attempt to see him; however moments later he rushes out as news reporters try to get an interview with him.

As he is carrying her upstairs and to a new room; her colostomy bag leaks. After he sets down So-won on the bed; Mi-hee goes to check on her and sees the leaking bag. She runs out and calls for help. She shortly faints afterwards.
The traumatic incident is still fresh in So-won's mind as she starts crying and screaming at her father, telling him to stop. He then finally lets go and realizes what is going on; she is scared of men; including her own father. Nurses go in to help her leaking bag.

So-won is insecure about her colostomy bag, and the crackling noises it makes. Dong-hoon helps her by putting candy in a bag she could use to cover up the colostomy bag.

Time passes on, and Dong-hoon visits her attacker in jail. He does not remember anything, as he was drunk. Dong-hoon gets furious and even goes as far as throwing his chair at the window multiple times out of rage; however the glass between them does not break and an officer puts her attacker back inside his jail cell.
The day of being in court comes. So-won identifies her attacker through photos again, and she reveals that he smelled like alcohol when it happened. He is only sentenced to 12 years in prison, causing outrage.
