Tremendous episode. I felt so much emotion while watching this. Definitely the best episode of the first season, and there were a lot of amazing episodes. There was no wasted moment here. Every scene had a purpose. From Commander Erwin's words at the beginning, to the epic fight between Levi Squad and the Female Titan, to the Titan super fight, and finally badass Mikasa at the end. Non-stop greatness for 20 minutes. I also loved the small details. Such as how Commander Erwin's words reflected on the battle, and what Levi said about trust in a precious episode. The animation was smooth and the OST was pitch perfect. It's everything i could have possibly wanted in a single episode.

I got goose-bumps after watching this episode because this was simply a masterpiece in the making. Never in all my time watching an anime have I ever been so pumped up from start to beginning.
The OST was great as always and just made watching it all the more epic. The change of pace from the initial deduction by commander Erwin about how to achieve success, the survey corps needs to change their strategies up until the final confrontation with Eren and the female titan. The animation was flawless as always, the entire episode was an emotional roller-coaster where one minute you're sad, and the next you're pumped and then sad again all in the span of 2 minutes. Just awesome
It was simply awesome and easily deserves a 10 out of 10. Anybody who is just getting into the anime should look forward to this episode.

Seriously the most amazing epic episode of any anime ever created. Very important characters die in this episode which makes it all the better, and the soundtrack is amazing too! If you haven't watched AOT your missing out.

This episode was so amazing it had me in absolut disbelief! My heart just stopped! I just could not believe what I saw! One moment i was excited, the next i was shattered! This is peak AOT! When you think you know how things will pan out, but instead you realize you knew nothing and anything can happen!
Soundtrack was amazing in this episode and I love how it sometimes lures you into a false sense of safety! Animation was also amazing! The fight was solid and memorable!
This episode is the best in season 1 and still remains memorable due to the large amount of unexpected events! I will never forget!

A very wonderful episode characterized by very exciting and interesting events that tighten the nerves and make you very excited, but I expected some things to happen and they did not happen, but were postponed for more episodes.

Honestly, why not consider this the greatest episode I have ever watched? Everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, about this episode was just perfection. I can honestly say, this is my new favorite episode of all time. Now I know what you are thinking. "If this is his favorite episode, just imagine how many Attack On Titan Episodes will be in his top twenty.". Like I said before, this is most likely the greatest TV show of all time at this point, but I am not going to say it yet, since this is only the first season. I can say that this is definitely the best first season of all time, though. This was just a perfect episode.

The animation was flawless, and the entire episode took me on an emotional roller-coaster, switching from sadness to excitement and back again in just a span of 2 minutes. Simply amazing.
