The podcast Dawn is listening to is Missing In Missoula, the one that Tina Fey's character produces in Only Murders In The Building.
When the superstar Gray Holland is being interviewed, he says that he's on the road so much that "It's getting to be like I don't even know where in the world I am, but I have a system to narrow it down. I check which way the loo water is spinning, uh, then I figure out how racist their Christmas is, uh, and then I go and check and see if there's any whale meat in the minibar." The "racist Christmas" line is likely meant to reference the Dutch tradition of giving Sinterklaas (their version of Saint Nicholas / Santa Claus) an assistant, Zwarte Piet ("Black Pete"), who dresses in blackface. Over the last two decades, Zwarte Piet has gone from being a mostly unquestioned and beloved aspect of Dutch Christmas tradition among the Netherlands' white population to being quite controversial; while a 2013 survey showed that 92 percent of Dutch people didn't see the depiction of Zwarte Piet in blackface as racist, by 2020 that number had dropped to 47 percent.
