. . . RIDING HOODS ANONYMOUS are incomplete. The character of the wolf was originally written the previous year by Michael Maltese, Warren Foster, Tony Benedict and Dalton Sander for the so-called "Poverty Row" outfit initialed MGM. In his original, genuine, authentic guise, the reformed carnivore was dubbed Loopy of Loop, when translated from Canadian to American. His first picture--WOLF HOUNDED--was released Nov. 5, 1959. Loopy went on to star in 47 more films, culminating with BIG MOUSE TAKE on June 17, 1965. Between his debut and finale, Loopy headlined such unforgettable titles as SNOOPY LOOPY, FEE FIE FOES, ZOO IS COMPANY, BUNGLE UNCLE, BEEF FOR AND AFTER, SLIPPERY SLIPPERS, RANCID RANSOM, BUNNIES ABUNDANT and RAGGEDY RUG.
