You can rightfully be confused with 'Girls of Cote D'Azur' initially when an opening graphic states "The International Beauty Search" and the video doesn't look like a typical Penthouse title. I can't tell you what that's about, but I can say it follows a tame format of ladies posing naked in various settings of this expensive French destination with some good moments buried under a pile of poor choices.
"Maid In Heaven" has the maid (Veronique Danger) in question quickly get out of her uniform. She switches into lingerie, a leather jacket & accessories and a blue one-piece bikini that all come off as well. Some pointless video effects are used which doesn't help matters (6.5 mins). "Sunseeker" is a lady (Lizelle Laroque) topless at a nude beach, on a jet ski & in a hammock. I'll just say it right here that the featured women aren't always the focus however. Artsy shots aside not all is lost as Liz gets nice closeups when she hits an outdoor shower (5.5 mins).
"Sweet Life" has the lady (Sylvie Chasseur) talk a little before laying out topless on a pricey yacht. Eventually she makes her way to a jacuzzi on the top deck but never takes off her bikini bottoms (6 mins). "Lady In Waiting" gives the lady (Christine Glise) a canned speech that sounds forced or labored before reaching a secluded beach spot and getting out of her blue dress and into a bikini that too comes off. It's doesn't offer much excitement (5.5 mins). "Sea Goddess" has a lady (Valerie LeLuc) on a walk get down to white lingerie while posing on some rocks near the ocean, but staying clothed for a large portion of it and more horrible video effects (7 mins).
"Midnight Flash" is a lady (Torrento) posing topless in front of a car at night as it illuminates her, but again bottoms never get removed (5 mins). "Captive Princess" finally gets to the lady (Katerine De La Croix) stretching. She goes topless while continuing to work out and video effects are used again. Fully nude allows for some nice shots of her butt / kitty thankfully near the end (6.5 mins). "Shadow Dancer" is a lady (Giorgi Angelou) getting out of her dress supplying good closeups which give this scene some life. Not to mention the most risqué kitty shot is seen here. She ends up standing in a bathtub inside providing a few more closeups (8.5 mins).
This title is visually in tune with what was coming out in the 80's, early 90's when it came to tame depictions of female nudity. It's age might also explain a director / editor losing control using a suite of cheesy video effects. 'Girls of the Cote D'Azur' is a title I didn't enjoy very much and it even features 9 minutes of end credits if you can believe that.
