Sweden, indeed, has a strong history of great music, and of course, filmmaking - so combining the two into a stellar, well paced and low key documentary feels like a natural fit.
Sara Parkman is very much one of the better of the modern music landscape, one that I am ever interested in, but sometimes a bit out of touch with - but she is a leading figure for sure in the modern folk revival, and feels very much in line with the classics we all love.
It is a very existential and beautifully put together film, delving deep into philisophy and purpose of life, in ways that would make any fan of Bob Dylan or Cat Stevens proud. Very interesting, well cut and well cinematographied.
Overall, definitely a recommended documentary for any film of music fans! Some great tracks included naturally.
