The first Indian show depicting the complexities of an open relationship
writewingink14 February 2024
This is the first time an Indian web show is tackling something as complex and relevant as an open relationship. The show does job the job well and presents a compelling albeit mildly tame case, which could probably be attributed to the times we live in. Beautifully shot, the show features excellent music and some soulful songs. The acting department stands out for its layered, mature and realistic portrayal. Kudos to Anshuman and Nupur, who give their respective roles everything they have got and then some. Apart from them Tanvika and Priyank's track really stood out. Jebin Jacob's cinematography elevates the show beyond the clutter of the genre. Do give it a watch!

A wholesome, modern take on romance!
ashish079214 February 2024
In an era of being connected all the time, what are the connections that really matter? Do we really communicate anymore? Are affairs of the heart really meant to be understood by the limitations of the logical mind?

DILLOGICAL takes on these interesting questions in a refreshing, light hearted and yet relevant way by telling us the story of Saransh and Jinal, the poster-perfect couple going through what they think is just a rough patch, and their simple minded attempt to reinvogorate things by 'opening' up their relationship. As we learn more about them, we are joined by their OG gang from Baroda: Umang, Sana, Diksha and Anunay as they take a trip to Daman to be a part of Anunay's sister Sakshi & Sharman's destination wedding. With layers of friendship and history, we see their attempts to make their relationship work as friends and family slowly come to terms with their newfound arrangement, impacting every last ceremony of the wedding. I enjoyed the music, the cast and the chemistry, which made me go back in time. It's a fun binge-watch with its heart in the right place.

Finally a show thats honest to todays relationships
FilmReviewGuyIndia15 February 2024
The eight-episode mini-series, each spanning approximately 30 minutes is packed with entertaining storylines and a fun young cast who's great performances make it a fun watch

Relatable situations of the youth today is captured perfectly by the writters and translated on screen the Director in a honest way .

The lead couple, Anshuman Malhotra and Nupur Nagpal, perfectly portray their teenage selves and adults. They have an easy chemistry and pass off as best friends. Chetan Dhawan as a goofy and childlike Umang, and Prasanna Bisht as his smart girlfriend (Jinal's bestie), Sana, stand out. Priyank Sharma as choreographer Dhruv, Tanvika Parlikar as Deeksha, and Sanchit Kundra as Anunay also deserve mention. The young bunch convincingly passes off as best friends.

Dillogical is a young and pretty-looking Valentine's Day offering that is a must watch.

Situationship is the new relationship status. Add to this the complex phenomenon of polyamoury, or open relationship, and a bunch of restless and impulsive Gen Z youngsters, and chaos ought to ensue. And it does in this romance drama, which is all about how a group of friends deals with one couple trying to have an open relationship. The backdrop of a wedding in Daman makes things crazier and more colourful.

Saransh (Anshuman Malhotra) and Jinal (Nupur Nagpal) are childhood sweethearts who have been in a long-distance relationship for four years. While the former is sure of settling down with his girlfriend, the latter wants to make it big as a social media star and explore life, which also entails dating other people. While director Sol Kohli gives one a peek into what it means to be a youngster these days, the incessant drama often goes overboard, and situations feel forced.

The show tries to unravel complicated relationship choices, but things don't seem thought through. Jinal desires more than being known as Saransh's wife and succeeding as an influencer, but her fire to do so doesn't come across too well. Amid the changing dynamics between the friends and the backdrop of their best friend Sakshi's (Surbhi Dhyani) wedding, the viewer gets a series of drunken shenanigans, fickle dates, misunderstandings, etc.

best show I've watched in a while
krishbirsingh23 February 2024
Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable show. I watched the whole show in one watch and enjoyed every second of it. The characters did an absolutely brilliant job the complexity and the enthusiasm they had about the roles they were playing were absolutely amazing. Coming hit the story like it was very well writing and the direction displayed creativity and complexity, unpacking it sitting in bed was the most enjoyable experience I have had in a while. Watching it with your friends is absolutely amazing experience and I would suggest you guys do it as well, but when you do make sure that you have time because you would want to finish it in one go

All the best Props to the cast.

A lighthearted take on complexities of modern romance
santoshvvs7 March 2024
Dillogical brings together a cast that feels so fresh that their take on the modern dating scenarios feels immersive, making you feel like you are a part of the gang right from the get go. The confusions, the intensities and the heartbreaks are all brought out beautifully. Anshuman and Nupur steal the show, but the supporting cast holds the stage extremely well. Anunay and Deeksha seemed to be quite well written characters and the actors playing them, Sanchit and Tanvika do a stellar job. Would love for a deep dive into the nuances of each of their characters, and their stories as well, which was probably the only aspect in which the show left me wanting more.

Overall, Dillogical is likely to have you glued to your screens as the story keeps unravelling itself in soft, sometimes funny, but mostly very earnest stages. Hoping to see more of the gang in the upcoming seasons!

Nupur Nagpal is a star
amanbakhshi-871153 March 2024
I started watching the show because apparently everyone has been talking about it. I was instantly hooked. Its something different. Fun, light hearted, good music, beautiful actors and great performances. It is quite relatable and makes us see how today's generation is swinging between what's conventional and what's not. Another love story that resonated in amazon mini tv's kitty. Also, Anshuman Malhotra's performance is top quality. But Nupur Nagpal steals the show. Definitely her fan now. The chemistry between them is palpable. I am actually craving for Season 2 now and waiting to see where Saransh and Jinal go from here.

So fascinating love
bishophowie1 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The show nails the real-life struggles of young people today, with the writers' honesty translating perfectly to the screen thanks to the director's vision.

The main couple, Anshuman Malhotra and Nupur Nagpal, are believable as both teenagers and adults in their relationship. They have a natural connection that makes them seem like close friends. Chetan Dhawan shines as the goofy Umang, and Prasanna Bisht is great as Jinal's smart best friend, Sana. Shoutouts to Priyank Sharma, Tanvika Parlikar, and Sanchit Kundra for their performances as well. The entire young cast is convincing as a tight-knit friend group.

If you're looking for a light and youthful show to watch, Dillogical is a perfect choice. It explores the idea of "situationships" and the complexities of open relationships, all through the lens of a group of restless Gen Z friends. With a crazy and colorful wedding in Daman as the setting, this romantic drama explores how these friends navigate the situation when one couple decides to try an open relationship.about people, so double-check its responses. Yo.
