The Summer of 12 Down South
justincaban24 March 2024
While the Loud family of Royal Woods traveled their way up to Scotland in Europe, the familia of Great Lakes City takes a trip down south of the border in The Casagrandes Movie!

It's summer vacation and Ronnie Anne finally turns 12 on her birthday! She and her bestie Sid are about to spend a day at a new Xtreme skate park! But her family back home has a much bigger surprise. They're going to take a long drive down to Japunda, Mexico to visit Mama Lupe's hometown while also taking part of the New Fire Festival celebration. They also learn about Michoacán culture and an ancient legend about a preteen demigod (who also turned the same age as Ronnie's). Ronnie Anne would later befriend the demigoddess, and the chaos would start to ensue.

I have to say that the animation here (despite being the same as The Loud House Movie) has more details with depth, lighting, shadows and color. The character personalities of Ronnie Anne and her Casagrande/Santiago family are still their same loving selves. The fictional Mexican town of Japunda with its landscapes, pyramids, temples and other magical passages look really nice. The humor has some hits and misses, the action scenes with some 2D animation are exciting, and there are a couple of Easter eggs put in as well.

Now the main focus of this feature is the relationship between Ronnie Anne and her mother, Maria. Maria wants to spend more time with the family on this big vacation so she could be closer to her young daughter. But Ronnie Anne, who just turned 12, wishes to be more free and independent while not being smothered by her mom a lot. The two would have a bitter connection throughout the whole trip, but then Maria learns that she was also a 12 year old girl in the past who yearned to be more on her own, which she got that from her mom, Abuela Rosa cause it's a family generation of chancla warriors.

The important moral in my own words is just because the daughter is growing up doesn't mean that the parent has to still treat her like a baby. Let her be on her own. She will slowly start to learn more about trust and responsibility as time would go on. She wants to be an independent woman, but still loves her parents too. And no matter if the daughter is young or growing older, she is still a loving little girl in the parents' eyes.

If you're a Loud House/Casagrandes fan who also loves an exciting adventure, then this movie is just for you! I congratulate Miguel Puga and the CasaLoud team for putting all their passion and effort into this big final hurrah. The series may be a short-lived spinoff, but the Casagrandes will continue their ongoing guest roles in The Loud House!

This movie leaves The Casagrandes with a Whimperrm
Robloxreviewer25 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is better than The Loud House Movie, but not by a Long shot. Something tells me they put it on Netflix to avoid a Box Office Bomb. At least it wasn't muddled to death like said movie. The Concept itself is Slimliar to The Loud House Movie where they both learn on their Family roots by traveling and they Involve MAGIC, the Animation is worse than The Loud House Movie as it's too bright and More Choppy in Scences. I think Maria should have let Ronnie Anne Be independent and let her go places, but supervising Her. The movie was ranked #2 on Netflix, but I think it will lose attention and Popularity. Please, Nickelodeon, don't Release any more movies from the Francise to Streaming Services. As a Wise Man called Yoshi Player / That Yozzy Bloke said in 2022 about The Loud House Movie, "This movie leaves the show with a Whimper"

A Boring, Badly Animated Trash Heap (This isn't an April Fools Joke by the way)
TigerHenry6781 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I used to be a fan of the Loud House and heard it got a spinoff, I found it boring, and now it has a movie, and I think it is atrocious.

First of all, it's just a ripoff of the first movie, The Loud House Movie, since this is technically a sequel, the first movie's plot is: The Loud Family go on vacation to Scotland, and the plot of this movie is: The Casagrandes go on vacation to Mexico. Those plots are eerily similar.

Secondly, this movie looks really bad, most people praise the movie for its shading when it can't even match the lighting with the location of the sun, also the animation is tweened and it looks terrible, also also, there seems to be a sharpness effect which may seem like a good thing, but it just makes the movie look even uglier.

And lastly, the film is just boring, I watched this with my brother and he fell asleep, I wanted to do the same, I think the problem is due to the story of the demigod (I forgot her name) being so dragged out and generic at the same time.

Overall, this movie is a boring and badly animated mess, I'd give this a 1/10.

(By the way, this isn't an April Fool's joke, I genuinely think the movie is garbage)

Sleeping Pill: The Movie
seansohr2 April 2024
So The Loud House Movie (2021) is in my worst 5 movies of all time, and as you can imagine I was not happy to hear The Casagrandes spin-off was getting its own movie.

But because I'm a masochist I gave it a watch. I was cringing almost immediately with the completely gratuitous and out-of-place SpongeBob/Rocko reference. That part was so bad that it could rival the worst aspects of The Loud House Movie.

Surprisingly though, that was the only thing in the movie that actively angered me. The rest of it was just boring, bland, lifeless sludge.

And that's the thing. The 2021 Loud House Movie and everything about it fills me with rage -- its very existence makes me angry. But I'm really not feeling the same level of hatred with The Casagrandes Movie, perhaps because it's just that dull.

Don't get me wrong, The Loud House Movie was indeed boring but that was the least of its sins given how utterly mind-blowingly terrible and frustrating everything else was.

The Casagrandes Movie's biggest sin (the aforementioned SpongeBob/Rocko thing aside) is just how utterly vapid it is.

This may be the single most bland, boring, lifeless, empty and SOULLESS movie I have ever seen.

I'm not even mad at this movie, I just find it incredibly sad.

The Casagrandes Movie is so far the best animated film of 2024
johnnymarrero22 March 2024
I really love The Casagrandes movie it's such a treat, the animation for the movie is even better and has a lot of shading which makes the movie stand out, The Casagrandes live is a great movie that has a lot of humor, culture, heart, a lot of beautiful color when it comes to animation and some very cool surprises, also captures the heart of a mother daughter relationship between Ronnie Anne and Maria and it's very nice to see Maria have a huge role in the movie opposed to the series cause in the series she has barley focus props to the actors such a Izabella Alveraz, Sumalee Mantano, and Paulina Chavez who nailed their scenes with their characters especially Izabella as Ronnie Anne and of course props to the man who directed the movie Miguel Puga and to be honest it might be better than The Loud House Movie but I also highly recommend this movie it's so so good.

One of the amazing animated movies I have ever watched!
daniaelnaaim22 March 2024
Wow just wow! This movie overall is just amazing! It's animation is way better than the loud house movie and the casa series itself. Felt short and could have been longer yet still brings a great conclusion to The Casagrandes!

The story behind it which I find it very interesting and fascinating is on top! The voice acting cast nailed it and Izabella Alvarez obviously nailed it as Ronnie Anne! Director Miguel Puga did a fantastic job on the movie and the animation team went all out on this movie!

Overall I would give it a 9/10 but since I'm a sucker for movies like this. I'm giving it a 10/10! Will definitely love to re-watch it again sooner than expected!
