Amazing short
pushthistempo18 February 2014
I've seen so much short those last years, but really and honestly this one is in my top 3. First there is a real great achievement in directing. The way Burkina faso is shooted is definitely new, fresh and singular. The camera movements are all legitimates and when the director decide to calm down the rhythm it's always a success. Story wise, it's simple but efficient. You follow this young boy, you love him and you identify yourself from the beginning to the end... The cinematography is beautiful and acting wise there is nothing to say : they're just all perfect. This short melt with success so much feeling : It's fun, deep, historically important and finally very touching. Congrats to the director !
