In #Reto48 you will meet Gala, Sam, Agustín, Pablo and Brillo, five teenagers from the Liceo San Denise who are forced to repeat the Vocational Aptitude Test (PAV), but due to the dissatisfaction of this repetition they decide to escape. In their escape attempt they remain locked in the garbage room without anyone knowing where they are, while everyone believes that they are carrying out a viral challenge called #Challenge48 which consists of disappearing for two days in a row without warning.
Although at first everything seemed under control, different situations begin to happen and the characters are put to the test, not only by the confinement but also because while there they must face the masks they had put on to show themselves to their companions, and now their true ways of being and thinking will come to light!
Surely we will never have to face a scenario in which we stay locked up for a long time, but we will have to decide what of who we are we show to others and decide if it will be a "label-free" version of what others people expect from us. That is the proposal of #Reto48, to go beyond labels because yes, adolescence is a stage where we experience many new things, but it is also a time to discover ourselves and perhaps for some it is more difficult than for others.
It is a process in which we are not alone as individuals; other components come into play to form our personality, such as the upbringing we have received. We are the school or schools we have been to, we are our tastes, we are our friends and, of course, we are also the reflection of our families and what everyone expects of us. That is why building our identity can become a challenge, but we must accept it.
