Steel states that the messiness of the N-Tek break-in is just as bad as Max's room, minus the odor of smelly tube socks. Since Max can't leave his Steel Suit, why would there be smelly tube socks in his bedroom?
Max feels chilly during the stakeout. As always, he wears his Steel Suit (self-camouflaged to look like regular attire). It's a protective suit that totally prevents him from feeling arctic cold (as demonstrated in The Thrill of the Hunt). He only feels chilly because the script needs a reason for him to mistakenly flip on the truck alarm rather than the heater.
Steel leaves Max while in TURBO Flight Mode, disengaging Max from that mode. This is how it should be (how it originally was), but it comes after many instances where Steel leaves Max but the mode remains. It shouldn't be whichever way the script demands.
Steel voices his suspicions about N-Tek aloud rather than in Max's head alone.
