- A husband and wife couple from Batak named Minar and Sahat. Their marriage journey was filled with twists and turns, especially with the presence of Sahat's mother, known as Mamak-in-law.
- This is the love story of Minar and Sahat and their mother-in-law with a Batak family background. Minar and her mother-in-law have different beliefs about love. For Minar, love is quality time and communication. Meanwhile, for mothers-in-law, love is the presence of a son as the successor of the clan. Because of this, since the beginning of the marriage, Mother-in-law never got tired of asking Minar to give her a grandson. Because they didn't have enough money, Minar and Sahat were forced to stay at their mother-in-law's house and were given a bed left by Sahat's grandfather. That bed was called the 'Sacred Bed' by my mother-in-law, because one week of sleeping on that bed she immediately became pregnant with Monang, her first child. Minar has an agenda: to get Sahat out of her mother-in-law's house. Minar wants to have her own house, without interference from her mother-in-law. But, is it possible for Mother-in-law to allow Minar and Sahat to leave her house before giving Mother-in-law a grandson?
