- You can run, but you cannot hide, The Beast is always coming after you. In THE CHASE, a team of three contestants attempts to amass as much money as possible by answering quick-fire questions in a 60-second round. The money earned will go towards a team bank. Why the urgency? Because The Beast is always lurking, ready to pounce. The Beast - quite simply - is a quiz genius. The job of this intimidating presence is to catch each contestant by answering more questions than his opponents to ensure they are not able to bank their money. It's a role he executes with ruthless efficiency. In the final round, the teammates who have survived the initial chase collectively play against The Beast in an epic David vs. Goliath battle for the entire amount that they have banked.—The Chase
- In this game show, hosted by Brooke Burns, a team of four has a chance to go up against a quiz genius, nicknamed the Beast and take home 1000s of Dollars.
Cash Builder:
In this round Brooke asks each contestant, non-multiple choice questions for 1 minute. The contestants attempt to get as many correct answers as possible, earning $1,000 per correct answer.
Head to Head:
The Contestants then have to take on the Beast, Mark Labbett, for a chance to get through to the final chase. Each contestant has a choice of whether to play for the amount they won, to be 5 steps from home and 3 ahead of the Beast, 4 from home and 4 ahead for a smaller amount or 6 from home and 2 ahead for a higher amount on the table. Brooke then asks each contestant a multiple choice question, consisting of an A, B or C answer. The Beast answers alongside the contestants and if he gets a question correct which the contestant doesn't, he will move one step closer to them, but if they both get the question right, the gap will remain the same or if Mark gets a question wrong and the contestant get it right, they will move one step further away from the Beast. If the Contestants are caught, they leave with nothing, but if they aren't caught, they add their total to the prize fund and get through to the final.
Final:
The team get a head start of however many got through and then Brooke has 2 minutes to ask another set of non-multiple choice questions, similar to the cash builder, except now the whole team play together. The team try and set a big enough target to not get caught by Mark. The Beast then has 2 minutes to try and catch the team. If Mark gets a question wrong, the team have an opportunity to push him back one step. if he does catch the team, they leave with nothing, but if they aren't they leave with a split of the total prize fund.
