Claire and Andrew are devastated that Anna was one of the victims. David conflicted by recent events, and those concerning the death of his father slams all of Southcliffe both in the pub and on the news. Paul falls apart, wrapped in guilt over his callous behaviour.
The residents of Southcliffe really are messed up, only Geoff seems to be behaving in a way that's reasonable. Paul is the most loathsome of characters, he's terrible.
I am thoroughly enjoying it, despite it being such a bleak story, the storytelling is a little jumbled as it's jumping back and forth, but it's compelling, I'm intrigued to learn more. 8/10.
