- When Louis, the lazy beetle from Paris, gets lost in the chaotic streets of Athens, he meets Jason the hyperactive ladybug who gives him a tour of the city. Together they discover local culture through their microscopic adventures.
- In the summertime 8-year old Pauline travels from Paris to Athens with her parents to visit his Greek side of the family for the first time. With her she always carries her favorite suitcase that not only contains her clothes and toys but also a tiny stowaway: Louis the Beetle. Louis is a middle-aged French beetle visiting different European Countries to relax, eat the local food and do as little as possible as a tourist. Unfortunately this plan doesn't always work as he meets a Greek hyperactive Ladybug kid named Jason - always eager to jump around and experience spontaneous adventures. In their travels they develop a parent - child relationship as Louis cannot help but be fond of the excited little Ladybug. Jason may be naive and headstrong but he always acts in a heartwarmingly honest and lovable way like every other child. Every adventure they have starts with a small intro with the place Pauline and her parents travel to. The moment the suitcase is put on the ground or left on the side the two bugs get the chance to come out of a small side pocket. From the airport, to the city center and from the museums to the ferry boat and the mountain villages the bugs go on microscopic playful adventures. Every small journey aims to reflect the differences in perspective between children and adults when they tour together. The good and the bad of traveling with family and especially kids, is one of the show's focus points. Sometimes Louis wants to taste the delicious food no matter what and others Jason gets distracted and recklessly puts himself in danger.—Los Angeles Greek Film Festival
