- The lads finally make it to the house of former CIA agent Lazaro, who agrees to take their name of the CIA's kill list and let them know how things are doing at home in exchange for their doing his housework. Unbeknown to them however,as he is supposedly wiping their name of the computer another agent is remotely putting them back on again. Lazaro gets them all high on peyote, leading each one to have a different hallucination but next morning when they are feeling drowsy he produces a gun and says that he has orders to kill them in revenge for their killing Maria Gonzalez at Alvo's villa. They are however saved, first by the tokoloshe who tells Rick to flee and then by Mercedes, who shoots Lazaro and tells the CIA that the quartet are all dead before arranging to have them taken back to Cape Town to start the journey home. She waves them off - as,in Rick's case only - does the tokoloshe.—don @ minifie-1
- Their bickering over future options in Capetown or England gets only worse when the four finally find former CIA agent Lazaro's home, apparently deserted, and help themselves to his beverages. Welcomed at gun pointed when he arrives, they are promised he'll clean their slates for free, or doing is laundry as token gratitude. Apart from unstable Internet reach, that proves easy, so they all celebrate that night, feed a Cape version of the hallucinogen peyote, to put them in cheerful mood. Only Rick remains alert enough to realize Lazaro means it when he pulls out a machine-gun to 'kill them humanely', their target files having been reinstated remotely. Last minute he's overpowered and locked up, while the boys frantically discuss options, only to find next morning he broke loose and comes with the machine-gun, taking aim when he's shot in the head by rogue soldier Mercedes, who returned realizing they wouldn't cope, and even arranges a helicopter flight away.—KGF Vissers
