Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones (2011)

Goofs

Breaker of Chains

Game of Thrones

Edit

Continuity

As Daario Naharis causes the Meereenese champion to fall off his horse, his head falls toward the right of the screen and his legs are pointing left. But as he rolls up to Daario in the cloud of dust, he is suddenly facing in the opposite direction.

Anachronisms

Daenerys orders the catapults to fire, but that term only came into use with gunpowder-based weapons.
Whilst accepting that it is a fantasy world, it is clearly based on Eurasia; the villagers refer to potatoes, which were unknown in this area until long after the time of dragons.

Character error

Per the script, the insults used by the Meereenese champion are the same as the taunts said by the French to Arthur in Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975); however, Missandei's translation of them is quite different (possibly on purpose).
