The Sixth Doctor sits, reading on The TARDIS, when his old travelling companion, Peri suddenly appears, the pair discuss old times, and recount the events on Varos.
Now, before we go anywhere, I know we can't go by appearances, but Peri doesn't really pass as a warrior Queen here, she's looking way too glamorous, she looks more like she's had a quality life, and taken major care of herself.
It's not often that you see genuine warmth among actors, but that's what I see every time Colin and Nicola appear together, pure adoration.
I like Varos, I reviewed that some years back, always worth a look, especially for the tremendous performance of Nabil Shaban, Sil being one of the best.
Watching Colin here, all I kept thinking, with good writing, he could and should have been awesome, too often he was let down with poor scripts and shoddy production.
