You guys propably haven't slept in days! Thank you animators for giving us such an incredible masterpiece! You sure diserve more than this! This is all thanks to you!

The fight was EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!! It never slows down! Itadori was at his absolute BEST in this episode!! The last part send chills down my spine! I got goosebumps, unable to move! This was some of the best this show has to offer!

The VA's did a fantastic job!!

PEAK SHONEN
david-6128815 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is definitely the best episode of the entire season, no, the entire series so far. The animation, the ost, the voice acting, everything was at its highest point. Itadori is my favorite character in this series, the development he has had throughout the series is incredible, heartbreaking, cruel but amazing. I like the rawness in Jujutsu, because it distances it from the average shonen, they are not meaningless deaths, but rather they have a purpose and an impact on the story, villains like Mahito are annoying but at the same time worth seeing on screen. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE THIS ARC HAS BEEN, DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST SHONEN ARCS IN AN ANIME, PEAK, ITADORI, TODO AND MAHITO WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED.

Perfect. The perfect JJK Episode.

And yet again, JJK tops itself again, making this the best episode of JJK thus far. The Action? 10/10. Animation? 10/10. Music? 10/10. This Episode had me hooked from the first second to the last. While I was conflicted on weither to give the previous episode a 10/10, due to the Miwa scene being somewhat out of place, I had no trouble on deciding what rating to give this episode. This episode was perfection. Mahito is debatably the best villain in the anime so far. Yes, Sukuna is cooler, but as a villain, Mahito was much more hateable, and in my opinion, hurt Yuji more than Sukuna did, so far at least. Now about the Episode. This Episode had so many amazing moments. Mahito's domain was absolutely thrilling. The whole Todo and Takada sequence came out of nowhere and it was so brilliant. And the one on one between Yuji and Mahito was so epic, I couldn't stand still. That final black flash, felt straight out MHA season 3 episode 11 and it was jaw-droppingly beautiful and satisfying. And of course... the final sequence... "I'm you", Yuji said, as he chased down Mahito. In my opinion, the best scene in the show. I am not surprised that they didn't play Skyfall, no way were they gonna get the rights to that song, but no music also fit extremely well. Overall, this is the best episode in Jujutsu Kaisen so far and will stay that way for a while I believe.

My new favorite episode.
sakugaenjoyer14 December 2023
I had to create my account just to leave this review thats how much I loved this. The animation in this episode for in my opinion is among its best moments. They have done more than justice to the source material. The insane moments this episode has to offer are brilliantly paced and directed. Theres a particular sequence toward the beginning with truly amazing 3D camera work. I find it hard to fault it for some of the lax background details. Some of the environment is very smooth but considering the working conditions these people are under it's nothing short of mind blowing that could accomplish this much. Yuji and Todo once again prove that THEY are the exception. Mahito's VA is a standout to me. His performance in every episode is genuinely unhinged and this episode is just that. Of course the performances are amazing all around. It's a superb episode with awesome music, stellar animation and very clever writing. Give MAPPA a round of applause. I wish I could give it an 11/10.

Shibuya Incident: The Embodiment of Perfection
rxckne15 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The back half of this arc has been nothing short of stellar and has subverted my expectations in ways I couldn't imagine. I thought a show like Demon Slayer took a ginormous jump from season 1 to season 2 with the Mugen Train and Entertainment District arcs, but what JJK has done with Hidden Inventory & Shibuya Incident will go down in history.

This episode is another example of how stellar this anime has been. I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of Mahito early on. When comparing this show to something like Demon Slayer, I was always intrigued by someone like Akaza or Gyutaro. In JJK I never was crazy about Mahito for some reason, whether it was his aura or his presence not being felt, or not having the opportunity to really showcase how truly dangerous he is.

But in this arc, the investment that has been made on Mahito has truly paid off. Murdering two of the shows main characters, terrorizing Itadori, the monologue he had to begin last episode, and obviously the fight sequences he's been in as of late. Expanding his domain, black flash, and the idle transfiguration after finding the true form of his soul. He's really shown out this arc and has cemented himself as a top tier villian imo.

And as the episode concluded, Todo and Itadori seemed to finally get the best of Mahito and I was completely satisfied. It came at the cost of many lives and a big sacrifice from Todo, but it seemed to work. The scene with Mahito running and crawling away from Itadori was terrifying. The mental turmoil Yuji has went through this arc was perfectly encapsulated in that monologue, telling Mahito no matter how many times he's reborn, Itadori would find him and kill him again and again because that is his role in the war between curses and sorcerers.

This was a beautiful end to Mahito's arc, or so I thought. The final moment of this episode ONCE AGAIN subverted my expectations, as fake Geto makes his return and most likely saves Mahito who will get away with surviving yet again it seems. We're getting closer to the end of Shibuya Incident as 3 episodes remain, and the fact that the best has arguably yet to come is beyond impressive.

Wow, just wow...
marwan1114 December 2023
I get tired of saying 'the greatest anime of 2023' .

Oh my God, I don't know what to say.. in terms of vocal performance, in terms of production, in terms of music, in terms of combat, in terms of writing, soundtracks, and atmosphere, in terms of dramatic depth and terrifying psychological attachment to each episode.. everything was "MASTERPIECE" from All aspects... the dramatic character mixed with psychological suffering and a light touch of comedy... just wow.. with every episode in this anime, I say this is the best episode, and an even better episode comes after it.. I am currently in shock from what I have seen... and I am sure I am not alone in my madness. Crazy about the episode..🔥👑

put the 'hupful' lf you agree with me..

Warning: Spoilers
This was a phenomenal episode. Peak 10/10. No flaws at all, great animation and voice acting. Great representation from the manga, accurate panels and everything. Just peak fiction overall. I cannot describe on how good the plot was. From the background change mid ep,to the wolf and rabbit representation(that wasnt actually in the manga),to literal perfection. Mappa did not fumble. Yuji shined bright as a main character, and finally didn't get overshadowed by the side cast. Everything was smooth aswell, just like the drawing. The pabels where almost identical(which the fans wanted),so overall it's an actual 10/10.

Just Die Mahito Die!
rickyliempd15 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what an epitome of fight sequences and tough character development and rather metamorphosis than transformation. Yuji and Brudda Todo have seemed to really be done playing with Mahito. Now that he has split his soul so many times and also noticing his supply of transfigured humans is depleting. We can see him literally knocking on deaths door in a field of snow and white bunnies. One could argue the last part of the episode was not equally finished or pristine as the other episode which was only finished 30% according to social media. But knowing how hard the animators work we are more than willing to give them a break. Please Geto don't save this ghoul of a curse. But knowing the author he will probably keep the suspense going as many episodes as he could. A solid 10/10 for me, true virtue of anime.

They were really at their 120%
The-Boss-18 December 2023
Title quoted from the last episode.

Everything was perfect, the analogy of Mahito and Itadori, the hunting scene, and of course, Todo Aoi's tactical, inspirational and comedic brilliance.

JJK fans are truly fortunate to have MAPPA animating their piece, big shout out to the animators, musicians and directors behind this series. It would be best if they stop making it a rush though, for the health of the animators. I'm sure the fans including myself are willing to wait.

I seldom write reviews other than on some really fine shows like Attack on Titan, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones etc. I believe JJK deserves a spot in it too.

its my first day
dgwigutow15 December 2023
I took the time to write this review, because i really do think its worth it, the staff of mappa, did an incredible job even though going trough such hard work condiitions, the episode i saw today is a master piece, I was so disapoiinted with sukuma´s domain episode in terms of animation. But this is episode had so much more weight, and the animation was incrideble. I just ask one thing let the pros, do their job, everyone can wait, do this season in two parts as long, its done well.

I took the troublr to create an account and do my first comment ever, because this was really a game changer, please keep with the good word, but with no deadlines, we all can wait for a masterpiece. Keep with the good work.

Transformative Brilliance
aboudi-khanafer15 December 2023
'Transformation' is a tour de force, seamlessly blending character development with gripping narrative twists. The writing reaches new heights as it explores profound themes, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. Performances are stellar, with each actor delivering nuanced emotions. The cinematography elevates key moments, creating a visually stunning experience. The directorial choices enhance the episode's impact, and the score is a masterful companion. 'Transformation' not only satisfies with its resolution but sets the stage for compelling future arcs. A perfect 10/10 - a triumph in storytelling and execution."

Absolutely insane, nerve wracking episode!
naserialimahdi15 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Just to start off with a basic saying; this was absolutely amazing. It had me on the edge of my seat literally not even blinking. What a great cliff hanger (it pissed me off, but I'm so excited to watch the next ep) and I was NOT expecting an ending like that! Oh yea and oh my oh my the animation was CRAZY! If you compare the manga panels, the detail is immense. I personally would say this is definitely my favourite JJK episode. 10/10. This episode basically had every single genre in the list involved in it.

I teared up when Todo got killed, but there was also a really crazy fight after this. Mahito really deserved that beating and the way Yuji walked towards him was SO COLD, I got goosebumps. You need to watch this episode. What an experience.

Now that was.. something!
aboalhyjaa15 December 2023
I seriously am out of words, this show just keeps getting better and I seriously can't remember any work with this much going on in episode after episode that u can't really wait to see the next one!

Last week was crazy, but this episode for sure is better! The amount of things happening in the same time is beyond my mind, Todo is one hell of a character and I wished he was in shibuya sooner!

Maheto with his new abilities, his jokery-mental laugh is something we wait for every episode.

The end raises some questions though, and u can't really guess whats gonna happen knowing that these last episodes are the end of the arc!

PEEEAAAAAAAAAK

Warning: Spoilers
Mappa absolutely cooking like Gordon Ramsey out here during this Shibuya arc.

This episode falls nothing short of being perfect. Yeah you heard that - PERFECT. There are a lot of spoiled people out there who have the audacity to complain about the littlest of issues with certain episodes, and it angers me. We all have heard about the documented problems that Mappa animators have had to deal with while cranking episodes out. If you haven't heard - take some time to look it up.

The fact that the animators are working under said conditions, and giving us episodes like this one? Nothing but a W in my opinion.

Having all 3 characters in this episode pop off with 120% of their own potential was exceptional. Genius tag team work done by Yuji and Todo. I can't even describe how hype I was when Todo clapped hands with Mahito to switch with Yuji - leading into a perfect perfect black flash. Beautifully animated.

Also the voice acting? Shivers bro... Yuji was uhh - chilling. Where you go I go

Thanks again Mappa, can't wait for the final couple epis of the season.

Episode of the year
johnmoore-9517915 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I've watch bleach, one piece, aot and Vinland saga, but in my humble opinion this is the anime of the year and this episode is episode of the year. Everyone is entitled for there own opinions and if you chose something else I would blame you because they're all peak. This is just on another level for me this year. The animation is on point, and the story as a whole this episode is so awesome. We all wanted to see mahito get his butt kicked but we go something ever better. We all had seen him beg for his life while yuji stared into the dudes eyes like a boss. My man's was crying his heart out a begging for mercy. My fav episode of the year a probably a top 10 episode I've ever seen.

Warning: Spoilers
If I could define this chapter in two words it would be "MASTERPIECE" I really loved it I loved it I enjoyed it I have been waiting for a long time for this finally animated chapter because in the manga it is brutal and Mappa achieved it again with deity jujutsu...this chapter It is poetic, simply wonderful and perfect at all times, even in Aoi's new scene, everything that God I loved It is "THE BEST CHAPTER OF JUJUTSU KAISEN AND THE BEST FIGHT" simply the best chapter of the year. It's simply poetic from start to finish and even though Mahito is a damn bastard he still completely deserves it. It was so wonderful to listen to Mahito's voice acting like he was asking for mercy.

is a really good episode, but it doesn't deserve 9.8, not 10. I think it got good points because it is popular, I think Max is 9.2.
