Good horror film.
I really watched and enjoyed the film. I don't understand why there are some negative reviews on here, its just a movie you watch it or you just watch something else. Are all these targeted reviews? They really just say very bad things about the movie and saying do not watch. Its a joke, these idiots have nothing to do but kill cinema industry. These idiots who are posting negative reviews about this movie have nothing to do but spread hatred, or may be they just want to show their jealousy.

I am avid movie lover and I enjoyed thre film, the directror really knows how to engage the audience and how to tell a story. This is how a story is told. The horror was not missed anywhere and casting was very good, music was extraordinary, permormaces was very very nice. Overall very good movie.

Gripping till the end.
rangulakavita9 April 2024
I wanted the movie for Eswarti rao, what a performance she has out up. The catsof this movie is commendable, they all suit perfectly to the characters. None of the cast is big nor they are small, they all did justice to the characters. Srinivas avasarala was also an amazing character, the ending was just awesome. The director does a commendable job in handling all crafts perfectly, and montly the cast. What a selection of cast.

The two little girls did a fantastic job, really enjoyed watching the film till the end. Though I did not understand the film completely, I could connect the dots after rethinking. What a film this has been, I love horro films and this served me full meals as I got tired watchng all the nonsense horror films.

Hands down, best horror film in India till date.
karanhydfilmnagar26 March 2024
Hands down, it is the best horror film ever made in India.

But there are many films in Hollywood that can easily beat Pindam, but I enjoyed watching it. Brilliant writing, performances, music and cinematography. The director does a very decent job in delivering a horror flick in the most believable way. The screenplay is also solid, though the climax is a bit cliched. The story is not properly conveyed, but I think the director wantedly left the gaps, he was creating a theme and wanted the audience to fill the gaps and form the story which for me is brilliant work. Not a lot of directors do this, as we like spoon feeding more. But this movie made me think a lot, which is what i liked. I was hooked to the film in the first few minutes and kept watching. Overall it is top notch, dubbing could be better.

Few worthy jumpscares and right form of horror
saikarunbalivada5 February 2024
There are a few good and a few improvement points.

Direction is good.

Screenplay is slow. Misses a pace and could have been reduced to a length of 1.5 hr.

The horror isn't forced, has a backdrop.

Few jump scares are really good.

Casting of the main characters is good. Good acting by Srikanth and Easvari ji.

The plot is not new still keeps you engaged.

Much better than regular horror movies which pretend to be scary.

A bit gory though.

Climax is predictable amd can be guessed in the beginning itself.

My advice to makers- spare children being your target of scaring the audience.

Overall a 1-TIME-WATCH.

Eagerly waiting for part 2.
simhabareddy10 April 2024
Movie is very interesting, and I enjoyed the movie.

In addition to its gripping narrative and superb performances, "Pindam" boasts stunning cinematography that captures the haunting beauty of its Appalachian setting. Every frame is meticulously composed to enhance the film's atmosphere of dread and foreboding.

In conclusion, "Pindam" is a tour de force of psychological horror that will linger in your mind long after the credits roll. Saikiran has crafted a film that stands as a testament to the enduring power of the genre, delivering an unforgettable experience that will haunt your dreams and leave you questioning what lurks in the darkness. If you're a fan of atmospheric horror that gets under your skin and stays with you, do yourself a favor and seek out "Pindam." Just be sure to keep the lights on when you do.

Worst ever movie
balajiramalingam9 February 2024
I dont know how this movie get 8 rating i give 1 because there is no number below than that. From direction to coluring there is no perfection just look like crew and cast done this movie on a vaccation time. Horror movie have jump scares but in this movie editing itself jump everywhere there is no proper cuts. Story and screenplay wow the director vision clear to make this movie worst one and acting my god terrible "emandi" there is no emotion no logic no connection. I think director try to throw this movie in garbage mistakenly it falls on OTT. Audience who read reviews please escape yourself dont get fooled like me.

Enjoyed the film!
rohanm-046495 April 2024
I really njoyd watching film. Starting is really slow but gripping, scary.

I will watch another time. Hindi dubbing was really good.

Waiting for Pindam part 2. The stroy ends in unexpected way, did ot expect the ending. My family also enjoyed, neat and clean film, and very scary to watch. Flashback was too good, how did the director shoot such sequence?? Very bold. My wife closed her eyes watchigng the flashback portion and was very scared. Telugu movies and directors are coming up with creative content, but our people here in bollywood are not, making time waste movies. Horror mocvies in bollywood are not that good, this movie was very scary and too much horror.

Thumbs up to the movie!!

One of the best horror movies from telugu
sarathchandra-bcm3 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Pindam is one of the best well written, directed horror telugu movies. The performances of all the actors were decent and the writing of each scene and story progression and back story was very convincing. The cinematography, lighting and production design were perfect. They left so many things unanswered probably for a sequel and yet, the climax was very satisfying. The only thing I felt odd was the color of Eswari Rao's car and costumes. The little girl's acting (Tara) was too good.

I was hoping that the character played by Srinivas Avasarala is Mary's son in her womb and was looking forward to how the murderers from the past were killed.

Scariest movie
directorvenkatkadali6 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Pindam is a chilling rollercoaster ride into the depths of horror, weaving a narrative that grips you from start to finish. From the eerie opening scene to the bone-chilling climax, this film keeps you on the edge of your seat, never letting up on its tension-filled atmosphere.

Director Saikiran Daida masterfully crafts each scene, utilizing clever camera angles and haunting sound design to evoke a sense of unease that lingers long after the credits roll. The cinematography is stunning, capturing both the beauty and the darkness of the rural setting in which the story unfolds.

At its core, Pindam is a tale of ancient folklore and modern terror colliding in a small village plagued by a mysterious curse. The characters are deeply flawed yet relatable, adding layers of complexity to the narrative as they grapple with their own demons while facing the horrors lurking in the shadows.

The performances are top-notch, with each actor fully immersing themselves in their roles, making you believe in the terror that surrounds them. Special mention must be made of the lead actress, whose portrayal of a woman haunted by both past traumas and present terrors is nothing short of mesmerizing.

But what truly sets pindam apart is its ability to tap into universal fears and anxieties, making it a truly visceral experience for audiences. Whether it's the fear of the unknown, the terror of confronting one's own sins, or the dread of being consumed by forces beyond our control, this film touches on themes that resonate on a primal level.

Overall, Pindam is a masterclass in horror filmmaking, delivering scares that are as thought-provoking as they are terrifying. It's a must-watch for any fan of the genre, and a testament to the power of storytelling to elicit fear and fascination in equal measure.

movie peru 'pindam', director ki oka dandam
cholletivamshi7 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Asal idhi horror movie ey na, cinema peru pindam kaani director ki oka dandham.

Asal a horror endhi, aa vfx endhi, asal aa green screen endhi ra babuu.

Such a predictable movie and such an irritating ending.

I still wonder how this movie was rated 8 above like wtf has happened to people these days ? The only reason i can think of high rating is the old man killing their daughters was shown as such gore and violence that it must be thrilling for telugu audience to watch this for the first time in a telugu movie and think wow what a violent and horror movie this must be. I agree that the violence in that 5 min scene was peak but that isn't worth watching the movie. TRUST ME, NOT WORTH THE WATCH.

Maaku meme pindam pettukune paristhiti ochindi.

Short film in the guise of a movie
sankarchinna-1560017 February 2024
It's actually a 30 min short film which they extended to 2 and half hours with unnecessary and slow dragging filler scenes. The story isn't that great either and the ending is not satisfactory. Kind of reminded of the western horror movies where the entire movie is built on a short premise and the entire movie is just the characters acting counterintuitively and slowly walk towards the danger rather than away from it. There was potential to use some of the elements introduced in the movie and actually build a universe out of it with it's own laws on how god and ghosts work but none of that expanded upon. It's an empty shell of a movie with a wasted potential.

Slower than a tortoise, Meaningless than male nipples
bluewhales-8078119 March 2024
Would recommend this to insomniacs, one hour into the film and you'll automatically go to sleep.

Poorly directed and executed film which has desperately tried to show abrahamic faith in a positive so much so that if given a chance the director would've made Easwari Rao hold a 10 feet long cross in her hand 🤣.

The desperation to show abrahamic faith positively is a common pattern in films made in the South of Bharath. Radicals and evangelists are running the southern film industries and it's a norm that they show Hindus and the Hindu dharma in poor light. Take any industry, except sandalwood, they've set their agenda.

Beware of such propagandist 'films'.

Watch this if you want a nap
dpmsharma5 May 2024
I was looking forward to watch a nice horror movie and came across this movie's IMDB rating as 6.8. This movie was supposed to be horrific but turned out horrible. I finished watching this movie in 4 intervals (while taking naps). I continued to watch hoping the climax will be outstanding but it was the most terrible part of the movie. Anamma's character was supposed to be fierce, smart, and experience enough to outsmart demons but turned out she was pale, dull, and dumb.

It looked like she had no clue how to face and eliminate demons that possessed the house. The actors involved in the movie felt like they are novice and naive. If you would like to save or invest your over couple of hours of time, then I recommend you not to watch this flick.
