When Johanna accepts her widowed mother's weekend invitation, she doesn't expect Henriette to proudly present her new boyfriend, 25 years her junior. Henriette is demonstratively happy with Philipp, while the surprised Johanna immediately judges him to be a marriage fraud type. Johanna's distrust, Henriette's self-assurance and in between Philipp, who tries to smooth things over - the meeting of the three becomes increasingly difficult. Mother and daughter know how to place undertones in the most hurtful way possible. At the latest when Johanna begins to seriously undermine the relationship, the question arises as to whether she really only has what is best for Henriette.
