Call of Duty: Ghosts (2013)

Goofs

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Edit

Factual errors

Multiple enemies are shown being killed with a thrown fire extinguisher that is shot. Fire extinguishers are designed to not rupture violently.
In the "Sin City" level, Logan falls from a building window to the ground, without shattering his spine or any other bones. In reality, he would have been shattered or even dead.

Miscellaneous

When the team uses tear gas, they don't put a gas mask on Riley.
Hesh kicks through a cinder block wall reinforced with steel, which he should not be able to do.
During the helicopter mission, a pilot states that he is out of 30mm ammunition before he even fires any.

Anachronisms

The U.S. flag in "No Man's Land" is the one that was used from 1912 to 1959 (having 48 stars).

Plot holes

There are many fighter jets on the carrier during the final attack. It would make more sense that they all be in the air attacking.
It makes little tactical sense for a team controlling drones to be placed in a prominent structure such as a tower.
The aircraft carrier's defensive weapons such as CIWS do not seem to be working, even though it is entering a major battle.

Character error

During the "Clockwork" level, Merrick's Spanish has a thick U.S. accent to the point that it would not fool a native speaker.
A missile launcher is misidentified as a surface-to-air missile launcher. A surface-to-air missile launcher would not be able to cause catastrophic damage to a dam.
Grammar mistakes in lots of the Spanish dialogue.
(Homecoming) Inside the helicopter, the masked Elias talks to his son, David "Hesh" Walker. David doesn't realize it's his father talking to him until Elias unmasks himself. David should have recognized Elias by his voice.
