Inspired by the national headlining case of Trayvon Martin, No Man's Paradise examines the choices and hard decisions that bind us together. Imagine a world where Black men were the hegemonic forces of society and young white men were disproportionately uneducated, incarcerated and gunned down. This is the backdrop of No Man's Paradise, a short film which parallels the lives of Chauncey, a private school, upper class Black teen and Gill, an impoverished young White dropout trying to keep his head above water. One hot summer night, their paths cross amidst a violent act which will leave audiences wondering: when it comes to color and class- who's capable of what...and why?
