The most intense episode of Live Another Day yet! It concludes the presentation phase for good! Terrific!

Warning: Spoilers
While some people found previous episode weaker than the first two I clearly disagree (Episode 3 is as great as the previous for me thanking the character development). Anyways I'm convinced that they will find every answer to possible complaints with this action-packed fourth episode. Finally it delivers things that we really care about and keep us on the edge of our seats. If the last three episodes were great and truly enjoyable this last one is the best so far. Also it works as a spectacular conclusion to the presentation phase of the show by finally putting all characters connected in the same storyline and in front of the same menaces.

The familiar twists and the predictable plot is compensated by superb action, stylish narrative and strong suspense. The hostage situation with Jack Bauer was the highlight of the episode for me. Since The White House Siege in Season 7 I wasn't so thrilled. Although Audrey's character finally begins to have a deeper role in the day and the moments with her feelings about Jack is truly remarkable too. Honorable mention to that intense dialog between Jack and President Heller after all these years without speaking each other. All these proofs (with the actions of CIA and Margot, that take place at the same time) take the audience to the truth: This ride could be finally as rushed as our hell of expectations.

Every character continues their progression along the events of the day. And if this one is not original or refreshingly surprising (that Hostage situation one more time, that mixed feelings about Jack one more time…) it does manage to be cool, fast paced and superb. Also it delivers the most thrilling cliffhanger at the end for me.

24: Live Another Day stills offering more of the same but this time delivers another great entertaining doing what it does best and without putting down the bar raised in previous episodes. I can't wait for what's next. First perfect episode of the season!

I love the use of the classic score from Sean Callery at the very end of the episode when the hostage is over with a promising twist. It gave me chills and truly golden remembers. Perfect end.
