Danny is usually by the book along with not engaging in the tactics his friend and boss, Steve engages in usually all the time. But when it comes to his daughter Rachel and kids in general....WATCH OUT! As it involves a cold case with a decade ago in which a girl was missing and found dead. Another child also has been missing as well kidnapped days ago.
As the other girl also was kidnapped and murdered the same way with a serial kidnapping couple played by Mare Winngham in a cast against type and Henry Rollins as they kill the child at 18 over welfare benefits.
Danny after having his daughter kidnapped can relate and since the twisted "parents" are not talking. Danny beats up Rollins after he had to surrender his badge and gun in order to get Rollins to talk. He does talk after taken so many beatings in order to find another kidnapped and buried girl.
As this one was a very disturbing episode. And really the show usually is pretty light hearted and actioned packed but really every once in awhile it will show a dark episode like this.
