Warning: Spoilers
Grey's Anatomy is finally on it's old glory of the feeling of what comes next. The megastorm plot was very interesting but not the best for a Season Finale (maybe a mid-season one)

A tamer Grey's finale
LoveIsAStateOfMind27 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Meredith/Derek/Baby – This was a pretty tame encounter for them! Of course Meredith's pregnancy couldn't go smoothly but as crises go, I liked how they played it with Meredith keeping calm and instructing Ross and then Bailey coming in to save the day. Nice way to get Bailey back on the horse. And naming the baby after her <3.

Cristina/Owen – This outcome was inevitable. They are never going to be able to overcome this hurdle. If Shonda truly believes they are endgame then I have no idea how she is going to get them to end up together.

Alex/Jo – I don't ship them but I loved Alex's conversation with Arizona in the closet where he talks about the crazy women in his life.

Jackson/April – Whilst I like Matthew, the Jackson/April scene was kind of raw and emotional. I generally find April all kinds of annoying but I thought her reaction was realistic and I enjoyed her letting loose on Jackson. Just wish Matthew/April had more time before the "Inevitable" Jackson/April moment happened.

Arizona/Lauren/Callie – I HATE CHEATING but I have to admit the chemistry between Arizona and Lauren was really hot. I might have eventually got over the cheating but what I can't get over is Arizona using the leg as an excuse yet again. I get in real life, it would be a huge deal for someone to get over but in TVLand, that excuse is getting old and has already been done to death at the start of the season to cause tension between Arizona and Callie. How can they possibly come back from this? Remember when Arizona was all kinds of perfect? CAN WE GO BACK TO THOSE TIMES NOW PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!

Richard ….. as soon as he found the maintenance guy in the basement, I knew the episode would end with him getting electrocuted so that definitely didn't shock me. Hope they don't kill him off! I liked it as a finale. It was obviously one of the tamer ones Grey's-wise but I think it worked well and Meredith and the baby ended up fine which is the most important thing for me. I am glad they didn't try to replicate the scale of the hospital shooting.

Grey's Anatomy is really my favorite TV show ever...And I've watched them a lot.I think that's because characters are so real and the cast is awesome! The relations are so deep, complicated but so realistic and that's important. There are a lot of great moments and humor in this TV show.Personally,my favorite character is Cristina Yang and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.Also, that relation between Dereck and Christina is very unique! She is strong, smart and i think she has feelings- she just doesn't show it. I'm aware this isn't the only show centered in hospital and focused on doctors but this is the only one that's not just that!I hope 10th season is going to end happily, unlike the other ones.Shonda, please! <3

Best season finale EVER!
melisa676330 September 2016
I've watched the entire series, from the beginning, a few times. I've been watching the reruns on Lifetime for the past few months.

This, THIS was by far the best episode EVER. And clearly the best season finale. This one had everyone involved in a cliff-hanger:

Jasckson & April Alex & Jo Bailey & herself Webber & life Hunt & Yang Derrick & Meredith

It was truly an awesome episode. Best cliff-hanger I've ever seen, and by far the most entertaining.

I had forgotten how much I had agonized over this, waiting for the new season. This is, in my opinion, the best episode of the entire series.

A complete adrenaline rush, constant edge of your seat viewing.

Anyone who has not watched the series should really give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Luckily Lifetime TV has been playing syndicated episodes. Watch, you will fall in love.

Amazing

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a Big Fan of Grey's and I don't do reviews on IMDb usually. But after I saw again this episode, I was blown away. While the storm hits Grey Sloan Memorial, many of the doctor have to struggle with many difficult situations, while Meredith, our protagonist, gets into labor. Tis episode has many amazing acting, from Chandra Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, Sara Ramirez,Patrick Dempsey and Sarah Drew just to say a few. This episode is really good and has an Amazing Cliffhanger with Dr Webber being electrocuted. While I saw this episode, I was completely tense, and that's a plus. I was gladly surprised with Sarah Drew's acting in this episode. Watching her screaming when she thought she lost Jackson was amazing. I'm sorry if my English isn't too good, it's not my primary language, but overall, this episode was mind blowing and amazing. Final Grade: 10/10

Character sabotage?
shanon-saunders5 January 2021
Callie deserves better. Arizona's character went totally off the deep end this episode to the point where I was MAD. No sane person would act like that and say the things she said to their wife. If they are going to write Arizona like that, then they better remove her from the show because Callie needs to file for divorce ASAP.

Too much, just overmuch
jknousak12 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
As others have noted, everything and everything happened in this episode. SO many things that are unreal that would have and could have happened in a 2 hour stretch which is just about the time lapse of this episode.

I'm done watching the show, this will be my last comment.

Too many inconsistencies for me and too many characters I don't like. Meredith can't be a sister to Derek's sisters because she's a Grey yet she has sisterly BIG time with Yang for 9 seasons. Really?

Karev's character said it right -- he's damaged goods and will never be allowed to be happy even for one season. Yuck. He's my favorite character and they just write him . . . loser every time including season 16 of this year (2019/20) when he supposedly leaves Jo and goes to Izzy cuz she had his kids. OMELG, just awful writing, and I certainly don't blame Justin Chambers for saying "Enough!"

About that leg amputation. No, they didn't do it well. Arizona never had counseling/therapy and there were no Five Stages of Grief, just shock, anger and acceptance. And Anger to Acceptance was 5 seconds. Love J Capshaw and liked Arizona character for sure, but Rhimes thinks she's done a great job about this matter and she has not and this from a provider who worked at Walter Reed Bethesda Medical Center from '11 to '17 where all the military amputees go.

Kepner was painful to listen to for me; really disliked her character and it doesn't fit w/ Avery character.

Cannot stand Webber who mostly yells in every episode but also laments his regrets due to all the lousy choices he made in his life. Yuck. The generator guy having a heart attack, c'mon! And then this webber dude at the end. Just too much drama -- unbelievable for the most part --- in this last episode of the season.

Glad to be done; Owen never is happy, Alex is never happy, heck, no one is ever happy for more than 5 minutes. And we, most of us, don't have that in any universe of reality. Goodnight.
