- A child is kidnapped. At the police station Silvia and Bernardo, the parents of the victim and Rosa, the main suspect and lover of Bernardo, give contradictory evidence which will take us to the gloomiest corners of desires, lies, needs and wickedness in the relationship of these three characters.
- When the girl Clara is kidnapped from the daycare, her mother Sylvia goes to the police station to report the missing child. The chief inspector interrogates Sylvia and learns that her husband Bernardo is an enforcer in a bus company. The low-middle class couple does not have any possessions; therefore they do not believe their daughter has been abducted for money. Then he interrogates the owner of the daycare that explains that she received a phone call from Sylvia telling to deliver Clara to a neighbor that the girl knew very well. When Bernardo arrives, he accuses the twenty-two year-old Rosa of kidnapping his daughter. He discloses to the Chief Inspector that Rosa and he had had a love affair and the police detectives bring Rosa to the station to be interrogated and she tells that a woman forced her to kidnap the girl. - After the mysterious disappearance of their little daughter, the couple Bernardo (Milhem Cortaz) and Sylvia (Fabiula Nascimento) head to a police station where both are interrogated by the precinct chief (Juliano Cazarré) who decides debriefing them separately. Soon we discover Bernardo has a lover outside of his marriage (Leandra Leal), which is also called to be interrogated. As the movie progresses, several conflicts involving lies, revenge and jealousy are revealed.
