The story revolves around Umesh, who rekindles his romance with his long-lost college crush Ketaki, a divorcee. After that he called his best friend where he always at the food counter where he is eating always. There is one dialogue said by Umesh bhai ke nana hoi tyare maa baap na hisaabe jivu pade ane mota thai tyare bacho na keva hisaabe revu pade which is heart touching words.

Super comedy. Dialogues well written. A good family entertianer
heenasagar-9383516 September 2023
It was such an amazing movie. I loved the way they have portrayed the story. I didn't expect it to turn out to be such an epic comedy one. I never expected that I will laugh this hard throughout the movie. The dialogues, Music, Direction, acting, editing, everything is just superb. Plus the message they tried to send was also meaningfull. The actors played equally imp role. Sonali ma'am stealed the show (true heroine), Gujju bhai (Siddhsarth Randheria) as always was just amazing, Parikshit Tamaliya as a debut actor did an amazing role throughout the movie ( felt that bonding between the father and son, Pooja Joshi ( felt the character could have been stronger but it also kept me on my toes as how she would react). So I would suggest that it's neither timepass nor super blockbuster but somewhere above average and can be watched with the family in theatres. "Paisa wasool movie"

Laughter produces positive emotions that lead to amusement, happiness, mirth and joy.

Latest gujarati movie " Hu Ane Tu " is a perfect blend of Humour and emotions. It has originality, humour ,emotions, good music and great acting by all main leads.

The film is about father and son. The film evolved around father and son's friendly conversations, situational comedy ,teenage romance and innocuous veteran love story.

Coming to performances Siddharth Randeria the G. O. A. T of gujarati stage and now in movies 🎬, is outstanding and has delivered superlative performance. Parikshit Tamaliya is very Spontaneous and his comic timing with Siddharth Randeria is perfect . Sonali Lele Desai has interwoven her character with perfection. Puja Joshi is perfect in her role. All other supporting casts have given full justifications to their assigned roles. Take a bow Manan Sagar for your flawless direction.

Overall " Hu Ane Tu " is must watch family entertainer gujarati movie.

"Hu ane tu," directed by Manan Sagar, is a heartwarming masterpiece that effortlessly combines humor and emotion. This Gujarati gem stands out for its clever humor and remarkable performances.

The film's humor is clever and genuinely funny, a rarity in comedy movies. Parikshit sir, as Tejas, steals the show with his charming and endearing performance. Sonal ma'am, portraying Ketki, skillfully captures the dilemmas of a character torn between tradition and personal desires. Siddharth sir, Puja ma'am, and the ensemble cast too did a commendable job.

Manan Sagar's direction and attention to detail shine throughout the film. The cinematography beautifully captures Ahmedabad's vibrancy.

The songs are great, you'll the theatre hummimg one of them.

It's a movie to enjoy with loved ones making you laugh hard but also leaving a heartwarming feeling.

I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, whether you're a Gujarati cinema fan or not.

Rubbish nepotism driven movie
cooldwijen1 December 2023
Usually I like gujrati movies as they come with good plots and good story lines. This one although a good concept failed to deliver its impact lead actor can't act and only their cause of nepotism. I can sense the main reveal miles away.

time wasting romantic film if not missed then regret later.
masoomshain-7407610 October 2023
Genre- Romantic comedy

Directed by- Manan Sagar

Written by- Vinod K Sarvaiya

Produced by- Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Siddharth Randeria and Ishaan Randeria

Cast- Siddharth Randeria as Umesh Sonali Lele Desai as Ketki Parikshit Tamaliya as Tejas Puja Joshi as Reva Sunil vishrani as friend of umesh

Cinematography by- Vikas Joshi

Music by- Kedar & Bhargav

Story- Bad and predictable till the last minute It's story of father son duo who fell for mother daughter duo. At climax you get a message for sacrifices done by our parents which is shown in millions of movies.

The story is very predictable as well as repetitive nothing new. Even a fifth grade student can write this kind of stories. Gujarati cinema badly needed some talented writers.

Screenplay- Horrible The screenplay is boring and very fast in some parts but slow in other. There are some comic scenes but are not that effective just saved by talented actors like siddharth randeria and sunil vishrani. The romantic scenes looked fake as well as very fast in younger couple. They have tried to create some father son and mother daughter emotional scenes but failed miserably. Although some father son scenes were cute.

Characters- average Umesh- father of tejas who runs business of sanitary ware. His relationship with his son is good (I guess only fantastic thing about film). He loved ketki in his college days but her father rejected their relationship because of his finical situation (repetitive story). He and ketki decided to sacrifice their relationship due to their children love story.

Tejas- son of umesh who hates his father's business and is a professional stand up comedian (shown in thousands of movies).

Reva- girlfriend of tejas. She hated her mother as she was told by her father that she left her since her childhood (the reality was different though). The most unbelievable thing is that she didn't even conformed from her mother when she grew up.

Ketki- she is childhood sweetheart of umesh but her father broke their relationship. She was then married to a sikh who didn't allowed her to work after marriage. So she divorced him but reva's custody when to him.

Performances- Good Siddharth randeria- as umersh nailed it. He is the solo reason to watch the movie. He is did fabulous work in comedy, emotional as well as romentic scenes. His dialogue delivery is next level. He is currently the finest actor in Gujarati cinema.

Sona lele desai- she did good job as ketki. So was looking very gorgeous. But in some emotional scenes she was not able to make us emotional. She did fabulous work in romantic scenes.

Parikshit tamaliya- did good job in some scenes but was bad in romantic scenes it just look too much fake only due to horrible screenplay.

Puja Joshi- as reva did justice to her role. Some of her romantic scenes didn't looked conveying due to bad screenplay.

Sunil vishrani- as friend of umesh was fabulous. His dialogue delivery was next level. He made a fabulous supporting cast.

Direction- average

Cinematography- below average

Production value- low but didn't created any flaws.

Dialogues- above average but were sound good due to talented actors especially the hindi gujarati mix dialogues by siddharth randeria were fabulous.

Songs and BGM- Great, all songs were fabulous and BGM was able to make scenes look more conveying.

Final verdict- Predictable story and horrible screenplay saved by siddharth randeria. The message delivered at climax was very repetitive. The film offers you nothing new. It's a time pass romantic film of young and elder generation. The romantic scenes looked really very fake. The songs were fabulous, we rarely hear such melodic songs in any gujarati film. The screenplay was inconsistent. The writer in some parts tried to show romance of two generations and in some parts tried to show relation of parents and children. Instead of it they would have shown difference between romance of different generations and the final message, ot would have saved the film. Overall a bad film best to miss and save your time.

0.5- Siddharth randeria performance and dialogue delivery 0.5- Songs 0.5- rest of performances.

Warning: Spoilers
This is the beauty of Gujarati Drama actors. They have timing to hit the punch. Siddharth Randeria, as always, is the central stage of the movie. However, Parikshit Tamaliya also supported him equally. The other co actors did their part well too. Madhuben did her best too.

There are some slow parts in the movie which may feel boring. Music and songs are good too. Ruthi Gaya Sapna was my favorite.

The overall message in the movie is good.

Mistakes or what could've been better: ** What I didn't like was about not utilizing Sunil Vishrani's talent. He didn't get much space to make you laugh.

** Editor made very visible mistakes. An actor goes to funeral by car but in return she takes rickshaw. There many such errors.
