Plot

Seven year old Zackarina has just moved with her mum and dad to a desolate island, far out in the open sea. She finds it difficult to adjust to the new place, and things doesn't get any better, when her beloved rag-dog is stolen by a jinx bird. She feels lonely and a little out of place when she meets the mysterious Sand Wolf on the beach. The two become friends and help each other to overcome loneliness and grief and discover that true friendship lasts forever.
