A dysfunctional Jewish family gathers for the seven day Shivah of its matriarch: Abbie Gottesman. With them, a catharsis of events that helps them discover their faith, their relationship, and the secrets within the family.

Abbie, the matriarch of the Gottesman family, dies of a stroke in the majesty of her house. Charlotte, Abbie's long time friend and always companion, gathers Abbie's children: Jonas and Atara to begin the ritual of seven days confinement to honor the lost of their mother. Living together again reveals many tensions and conflicts between the two of them, yet they are bin to discover a secret that Abbie never dared to share.—Sergio Avendano
