I'M CRYING, ONE PIECE AT IT'S PEAK

I had expectations for the final of Big mom Vs Law (and Kid) and this ep surpassed it so much, especially the voice actors and the new and AMAZING background sounds.

One Piece 1066, directed by Henry Thurlow, is top 3 One Piece fight eps in choreography and top 1 in soundtrack and smooth movement, not only that, but apart from the flashback scenes it's FAST paced!

Hearing the new drums sound and that animation quality in eps 1061, 1062 and 1066 makes me certain that the Luffy's Awakening episode will break the internet, I literally can't imagine what Toei will cook for one of the most important Luffy moments in the show and the final fight with Kaido for Wano to be free 🔥

9.5 ep at least 😉

Better than any WWE Handicap Match

Kid and Law decided to take down Big Momma at the cost of their life. And the perfect cinematics you can find in this episode. Fighting scenes are like never seen before in any Anime. Kid & Law sync and orchestrated a final attack with their last drop of their power to put down the monster Big Mom.

And Big Momma is not an easy target as she has been an emperor for a very long time and during this, she has met very powerful people who couldn't beat her at all.

Big Momma knows she has to use her top attacks which she only uses against the powerful people to defeat them, but would that be enough for her to see left and right both at the same time?

As Big Momma is fighting with the worst generation of Pirate Era KID & LAW who are very powerful pirates to against.

What a great and unique episode

The episode starts with look at kids past and what lead up to this battle now while he's gathering metal parts for something. Momonosuke finally starts to reverse wanos descent. While taking care of keeping onigashima afloat he hears zuneshas call

Then we get to some of the best action, animation and art style I've seen in the show so far. Law and kid continue the battle against Big mom and for a bit they had the upper hand until Napoleon, Prometheus and hera combine together to create a woman spirit thing called misery. Misery almost instantly destroys kid with punch after punch. While big moms distracted law attacks her and eventually stabs through her chest with his sword. It extends breaking through floor after floor on onigashima until it goes through the bottom of onighasma and into the ground below. Big mom uses armourment to punch him until he's nearly unconscious, then his blade reaches lava he then uses puncture to release the attack on her and it knocks her down and causing a massive hole in the ground on wano. This gives time for kid to use the attack he's been preparing for. He uses the damned punk move on her and it blasts her down near the hole leading to the outside, then the episode ends.

Overall fantastic episode. I really liked the opening minutes of artwork for kids past experiences leading up to now. The animation was really great here too, the fighting was also greatly choreographed and clean. It's have some unique animation and art styles this episode compared to other episodes. They did a fantastic job here.

This episode is almost on par as the zoro episode if not just as great. Easily a 10/10 for the amount of effort here.

Breathless

Prior to watching this episode, i had a little knowledge of what's coming. I had deliberately searched the schedule for some few upcoming one piece episodes. That's when i gained knowledge that Law and Kid were going to defeat Big Mom somewhere around episode 1067 and I was eager for that. I went into this episode thinking this one might be it and oh boy. What a thrilling episode. From the beginning till the end, i just had a huge smile on my face while my heart was racing. Top-tier animation with perfect soundtracks. It just keeps getting better and better. What a duo they are, Law and Kid. Throughout the episode, I was so blown away by how well Law uses his devil fruit. Such a genius. That goes for Kid too. This is it boys. Big mom's defeat is within our sight and they couldn't have had better guys to defeat her than Law and Kid. Easy 10 for this episode.

Here comes trafgar and kidd

One greatest episode so far. Where we see fall of one yonko. Start with kid little background story, that was epic and unique flash back story I have ever seen. The sound track as well as the animation is top level done by Henry and his team TOE. We finally see fall of emperor while trafgar mentioning your era has over. The dialogue delivery by Big mom and others are on point. I was waiting for this hype to come in one piece and it finally came. I don't know why the other anime watcher downgrade the rating for sake of their own satisfactory, if you dont like it so just dont watch. I dont think so this episode deserve rating the any rating other than 10. Love you all.

Law the MVP!!

This is definitely one of the best One Piece episodes ever! I was speechless and extra hyped all episode There are some amazing black and white art at the beginning of the episode with Kid's life flashing before his eyes before unleashing Damned Punk. The animation and direction are top tier. Law using Kroom, Anaesthesia; Puncture Wille causing most of Big Mom's damage is epic. They added an extra scene where Law and Kid are fighting Big Mom showcasing incredible choreography so cleanly. Law using Shambles teleporting around Big Mom and slicing her was animated so smoothly as well. Also there are extra scenes where Luffy vs Kaido, Yamato is fighting the Kazenbo and Momo pulling Onigashima from the Flower capital are all animated superbly. The anime also made Big Mom's ultimate devil fruit homie Misery a lot more terrifying in the anime which newest killed Eustass Kid. Overall the MVP was Trafalgar Law.

This is a perfect episode really, the pacing, animation, art, music, voice acting, direction all too tier. The perfect debut for the first Toei American director Henry Thurlow.

Great but was expecting more

I was hoping for better animation throughout the entire episode similar to the King vs. Zoro episode. Nonetheless, very crisp animation at key points. The moving combat frames with Law and Big Mom were very clean. I was quite disappointed with Law's final attack, and deserved more focus. The animation for Kid's final attack though, was something else. Each frame in that sequence was impressive. The episode was not on the same level of Zoro, but similar to Sanji's animation. For the directing, I feel the episode shouldn't have ending on a somewhat cliff hanger, and should show the finale of Big Mom. Small details they could have worked on, but great job from Toei Animation.
