Aus Anlass des 100. Todestages von Franz Kafka bringt Majestic Film „Die Herrlichkeit des Lebens“ noch einmal bundesweit in die Kinos. Wie der Verleih heute mitteilt, bekommen Kinogänger in teilnehmenden Kinos in der Jubiläumswoche ab dem 30. Mai zwei Tickets zum Preis von einem oder eine vergleichbare Ermäßigung.
Der von Judith Kaufmann und Georg Maas inszenierte Film erzählt die tragische Liebesgeschichte zwischen dem von Sabin Tambrea gespielten Franz Kafka und seiner großen Liebe Dora Diamant (Henriette Confurius) im letzten Lebensjahr des Schriftstellers.
Mit rund 210.000 Besuchern ist „Die Herrlichkeit des Lebens“ der erfolgreichste deutsche Arthousefilm des Jahres 2024.

Scandinavia’s top sales agent TrustNordisk has scored major deals on the English-language epic “Stockholm Bloodbath” by Oscar-nominated Mikael Håfström (‘Evil”), which has sold to Brainstorm Media and Sunrise Films for the US and Canada, The Jokers for France and Divisa Red for Spain.
The Claes Bang-vehicle, produced by Helena Danielsson for Viaplay Studios Sweden, is due to screen at the Cannes Market May 18, in a new international version.
