Been watching this series and its a grower Despite reviews from fire personnel who maybe rightly post comments on the operating procedure not being true to life

As a drama series this has gripped me from episode 1 Episode 19 has for me been the most dramatic and emotional episode so far I have to admit that there was a tear in my eye at the end

To all the brave firefighters throughout the world who do brave and amazing deeds on a daily basis I thank you To the producers of Chicago Fire thank you also Mouch and Chris are my favourite characters If you can step back from the reviews of fire personel and accept the series as an hour of drama you wont be disappointed Maybe I'm getting old but I enjoy good story lines and believable characters Hope it runs for a second series

Omg best heartfelt bit of TV ever. What an episode. Whoever produced , wrote, edited this piece of wonderful TV deserves a medal the end....... omg.... I literally couldn't breath. Beautifully acted and directed. The whole message behind it was magical. Sobbed like I've never ever cried in my 50 years on this planet. Really really got to me in so many ways. Hats off to the people behind it. You never cease to make me laugh also. Some of the storyline are great Craig. The jokers messin in the firehouse does be great! As we'd say here in Sunnt Dublin keep it up peeps I'm off to find a box of tissues cos I'm in ribbons sobbing here...choke choke. What an episode!!! San X.

A landmark episode for an excellent new series!

I have watched Chicago Fire since it began in the fall of 2012. From the very first episode I knew it had a way to go to being a great show. But with this episode " A Coffin That Small", I think it has reached that point. The show has good acting, great production values etc., but now it has heart. Good TV shows entertain us, make us laugh, fill time. But few deign to inspire us and give us a sense of spirit, community in these apathetic times. We humans are delicate and fragile, and we need other humans to remind us of that. This episode definitely deserves an Emmy nod. Kudos to Chicago Fire. It touched my heart. I hope this is the first of many more seasons to come.
