Amid Venezuela's economic and political turmoil, two single mothers navigate the challenges of providing for their children, as millions flee the failed state and many are left behind.

One of the former richest country of Latin America is crumbling apart. Venezuela's democracy has been abolished, hunger rules among the people, children are dying in the slums: People often do not even have the means for a coffin, burying the dead in plastic bags. The fates of the abandoned children show the dramatic situation in the failed state.
