- Bagas returns to his hometown after spending a long time at a pesantren to revive religious activities and straighten out the social norms that have been lost in his village. He is accompanied by his friends, Ayu and Hadi. However, Bagas' efforts are met with extreme opposition from Wirya, a wealthy man in the village who feels that Bagas' actions are disrupting their interests. Eventually, Wirya and his men agree to get rid of Bagas, and with the help of six others, they persecute Bagas until he dies. Bagas' body is then thrown into the river under the bridge. However, to their surprise, they hear the Asyghil shalawat coming from the mosque, which is usually recited by Bagas before dawn prayer. They become curious and immediately go to the mosque, only to be terrified by the sight of Bagas, who is still alive. Their fear escalates when two of them are found dead in a gruesome manner. From then on, the terror of Bagas, who always rides his bike and rings his bell, haunts them.
