Alicia is again representing Colin Sweeney who has been charged with disorderly conduct, a fairly mild charge arising out of a party that got out of hand. The State's Attorney however won't plea bargain is pushing for a tougher sentence. They realize the State's Attorney's office is dragging it out but it's Cary who figures out why - an impending Supreme Court decision could lead to Sweeney going to jail for life.
