Finally oxygen true crime channel has really done a deep dive into the minds of serial killers and massmurderers, describing how the oxygene where taken outta the victims almost like breathing oxycodone, and how that leads the perputrator addicted to the sport of killing...

its early in reviewing a tv serie after just 3 episodes, but the material left from the latter psychologist alan carlisle and others, really is a make or break on the path of solving the riddle''are we born evil''?

Its a mixture of true life crime documentation, interviews, a well set acted dramatization without exhaggerating, and of course the story about the life and works back then by alan carlisle, seemingly non groundbreaking research at its present time interviewing hodlums and knickerbockers back then, work that has been a gold mine for today criminologists and betterwissers of the human state of mind.

Its just one flaw that irritates a grumpy old man considering the presentation of this product, and that is the lavish use at high pitch volume a musical score that really kills the joy of watching these kind of tv programmes. Turn down the volume, cause it makes it a torture to think and destroys the ability to do your own analytics from the presented material.its not aliens from space material thats on the show, which have inspired this kind of musical score. Its cheap and a dum choice whining and screaming the sound of a single keyboard on subjects like this, as well as other oxygen tv documentaries.

The rest though are goldflakes of knowledge, therefore still a recommend.

The Pioneer of Understanding Serial/ Mass Murders

Never before heard experts of interviews with several infamous killers.

Dr. Carlisle, a pioneer in the study of violent minds has recently passed away and his family is sharing newly found records, written and recorded, from a lifetime of work left behind.

Episodes also include new detective interviews as well as never before seen interviews with victim's family, and fellow colleagues of Dr. Carlisle.

The Dr's own daughter, granddaughter and personal assistant expertly host each episode.

This is a very well done production. And it's a fine tribute towards the amazing trail blazing work Dr. Carlisle dedicated his life to.

Highly recommended.
