When Eugene and Taheme are being interviewed at the radio station Taheme storms out of the session and throws his headphones on the floor. In the next shot the headphones appear perfectly arranged on the table.
The radio station is identified as KCAL. Yet the radio station is in Virginia. Radio and TV stations in the eastern US have call letters that start with "W". Radio stations in the western US start with "K". Virginia is an eastern state, therefore, its radio stations start with a "W", and NOT a "K".
After Tee wins his first tournament in a library, The moderator declares that he has been disqualified because the parent signature was obviously forged by a child. It is impossible to tell the signature of a 16 year old or older teen from a 45 year old parent let alone one who was possibly illiterate and clearly drug addicted as Tee's mother was. While the Moderator could have made his claim, it is unlikely that 20 seconds would not be put forth by someone challenging the faulty logic. In fact, this immediately caused questions by 50% of viewers in one random screening.
