Amazing premise in the description. No delivery of anything remotely promised.
The problems start immediately with an inflammatory quote that is not followed-up on. Instead, we get a long introduction to a new band, and the longer the introduction goes on, the less interesting the band becomes.
Not really an exposé of the Machine, but a monotonous contemplation by several individuals of their journey through it. Nothing revelatory. At times repetitive, slow, and just very clumsy.
It picks up about 45 minutes in, then drops again and offers more lazy editing and poor story telling.
Kudos for the effort of interviewing a large number of players for it; I just wish the outcome had been better. :(
