When Mina first departs from the three strangers into the woods, she carries the bird cage in her left hand. However, in the next cut, she carries it in her right hand, and in the cut after that, it is back in her left hand.
Characters have been trapped in one location for months or even years and look clean and healthy, are shaved, have good haircuts ...
At around 5:10, the newscaster says: "It is a dreary day in Wicklow County." Unlike in the US, it is customary in Ireland to put the word 'county' first, then say the county name. An Irish newscaster would therefore have said: "It is a dreary day in County Wicklow."
Dr. Kilmartin's video logs begin in 2009, but the "webcam" he used came out in 1996, and the computer and operating system appear even older. By 2009, Windows 7 was out, so computers were much more advanced than the setup he had.
Mina leaves Galway towards Belfast, which is roughly 350 Km. At some point while she is driving, the GPS says "Proceed on this road for 106 Km to reach your destination.". This would put her somewhere in the middle or northeast of Ireland. So she would be nowhere close to the haunted forest which, as stated in the first scene, is located on the West of Ireland.
