Having a pet on a whim but not taking care of it every day, not wanting to go to school, or not liking vegetables at all: these are just some of the whims that the Ricci family will have to face. Father Eugenio (Armando Vitolo), mother Gabriella (Erica Zambelli), and their children, the restless Luigi (Michelangelo Del Vecchio) and the studious Rebecca (Rebeggiani), will be at the center of the plot of My Personal Hero. The two kids will make whims and express desires that will not be fulfilled by their parents, so Luigi and Rebecca will often ask for the help of Fabio, who is ready to help and fulfill them: not everything will always go as planned. However, by making mistakes, the two siblings will discover that learning and becoming responsible sometimes can also be fun.
