- Charles R. Aber: Is Carrie Dell having a hard time.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Oh, she certainly is, and it just bothers me so. I just hate to hear that child cry. Practically breaks my heart. You know how it can be and all?
- Charles R. Aber: Do you suppose it could be the scuba diving outfits?
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Well, what do you mean?
- Charles R. Aber: Well, you look very different in your scuba gear. Maybe... Maybe Carrie Dell doesn't know you're you.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Could be. Could certainly be.
- Charles R. Aber: Want me to take off your mask and see how she reacts to that?
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Oh, would you, dear?
- Charles R. Aber: Sure.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: I'd do anything to settle this little child.
- Charles R. Aber: [takes off Betty's mask] There you are.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: See, it's Mommy under all this, Carrie Dell. Just your mommy.
- Carrie Dell Jones: Mommy?
- James Michael Jones: What do you know about that? I say that was a dramatic change in attitude. Wouldn't you dear?
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: I'll certainly never put this mask on in front of her again. Not until she's 21 or so.
- Charles R. Aber: They can look scary.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Well, off we go to rock in the deep.
- James Michael Jones: You have a good time.
- Betty Okonak Templeton-Jones: Thank you, James.
- Mister Rogers: [wearing a firefighter's outfit] I just want you to know that if you ever see someone dressed like this - a firefighter - that there is a helpful person inside that outfit. If you see somebody like this, there's somebody there who wants to help you, not somebody who wants to scare you.
- Mister Rogers: That little baby, Carrie Dell, probably didn't know that her mother was under that mask, and Henrietta Pussycat didn't know that Mr. Aber was under his mask. It can be really scary when you don't know who's inside costumes.
